Student of "TELADAN" won a Silver Medal in the Yogyakarta City Innovation and Research Award Event
Friday (22/12/2023), the SMAN 1 Yogyakarta team won the second place in the 2023 Innovation and Research Award. Daniswara Sekar Indrastuti (XI IPS) and Ayoedya Arti Intaran (XI IPS). Previously, the tournament was conducted at Prawirotaman Market on Thursday (23/11/2023). This prize was presented at Yogyakarta City Hall during the National Defense Day and Mother's Day Commemoration Ceremony.
Sub-National Development Planning Agency (Bapedda) of Yogyakarta City holds the Innovation and Research Award (AIP) competition for the middle school, high school, and similar categories. The implementation of this competition is aimed at stimulating an innovative culture and developing students' unique creative potential through discoveries that are useful for the residents of Yogyakarta City.
I-KIWAE: Nori Made from Moringa Leaves with Indonesian Flavors was the product brought by the two outstanding female students. This innovation arose as a result of the availability of moringa in the city of Yogyakarta, which was not being fully utilized.
Last September, the I-KIWAE team qualified to compete as a national finalist in the Indonesian Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Festival (FIKSI) 2023 event. Danti Rizki Amalia, a PKWU instructor at SMAN 1 Yogyakarta (DNT), was of course helpful in this success.
