OUTDOOR STUDY: CLASS XI VISITS CONSERVATION FOREST IN TAHURA BUNDER

Gunung Kidul. A total of 324 class XI students from SMAN 1 Yogyakarta participated in Outdoor Study activities by visiting the Grand Forest Park.

The students go by a Tourism BUS from SMAN 1 Yogyakarta to the TAHURA BUNDER at Playen Gunung Kidul. "The aim of this activity is to train students to think critically, analyze regional potential and prepare recommendations as input in developing regional potential as well as  improving community welfare," said Sri Lestari, M.P.d., Chair of the Activity 

 

 

Students gladly participate and have direct contact with the impact of nature. They were joined by a guide who described the importance and benefits of TAHURA.

 

Deer breeding began with five animals and has since grown to 18 animals. "TAHURA is a conservation forest that aims to preserve the ecosystem circle. Wild habitats are part of the ecology, so they are preserved. The process of refining eucalyptus oil begins with the collection of raw materials such as twigs and leaves, which are then converted into crude oil and sold at auction to individuals and factories. The difficulty is that ½ of the capacity has not been sold since customers prefer to utilize eucalyptus. said the companion, who patiently clarified to the children.
