COMMEMORATING THE "HARDIKNAS", SMAN 1 YOGYAKARTA HOLDS A CEREMONY

Thursday, May 2, 2024. Every year on May 2, we celebrate National Education Day. The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology issued a Circular (SE) on April 22, 2024, which directed central, regional, educational units, and representative offices of the Republic of Indonesia abroad to conduct flag ceremonies in compliance with the specified guidelines.

The ceremony on the volleyball court was solemnly attended by the entire school community. But this is not the movement's end for Merdeka Belajar. As the Ceremony Supervisor, Drs. JUMADI, M. Si read the Minister of Education and Culture's remarks regarding the 2024 National Education Day with the theme Moving Together, Continue Free Learning. "With full hope, I entrust Merdeka Belajar to all of you, the drivers of change who never give up to take Indonesia into the future," said the Principal. "With full sincerity, I would like to thank you very much for the struggle that you and your father have put in."

The announcement of this semester's top students brought the ceremony to a close and encouraged students from a variety of areas to strive for success. (Robbani)
