THE SMAN 1 YOGYAKARTA CONTINGENT GOES HOME WITH GOLD AND SILVER MEDALS

The Indonesian Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Festival concluded on Saturday, September 29, 2024. The SMAN 1 Yogyakarta representatives eventually defeated two teams to win two medals after advancing through several rounds. Specifically, Anan and Felicia's work, ECO STYLE, earned Silver in the Application, Game, Video, and Animation category. In the Graphic Design category, Hanum and Callysta's effort in Math-A earned them the gold prize.

 

Mrs. Danti Rizki Amalia, M.Pd., the Crafts and Entrepreneurship Teacher, initially led 17 teams from SMAN 1 Yogyakarta in this esteemed competition. They are listed in the following order:

Following the completion of stage 1, which involved 17 teams, stage 2 saw the passing of 3 teams from SMAN 1 Yogyakarta, namely the Math-A team, the Graphic Design team led by Hanum, X-E8 with Callysta, X-E1 with Felicia, and Soomie/Boga Valen/X-E2 with Alia/X-E2.

 

The FIKSI finalists from the SMAN 1 Yogyakarta contingent stated, "Going there was a new experience for us to present our work with limited time, exhibit our work, and answer questions from experienced judges."

 

"I'm glad, ma'am. It's a new experience that enables me to learn about many things from Institutions of Sabang to Merauke. Meeting knowledgeable individuals, and obtaining feedback from a wide range of sources are really expensive experiences.  

I plan to do class mentoring for my junior students in creating works through FIKSI and participating in more competitions, stated Felicia. (Robbani)
