Creating a tourist chatbot and AI Batik, A return visit of Student Exchange from Singapore.

Thursday, March 30, 2023. Students from SMAN 1 Yogyakarta conducted student exchange activities with a total of 23 students from the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) Singapore.

Through this tour, Singaporean students were exposed to the study of Cultural Problems and Technology-Based Solutions.

These students are accompanied by four ITE teaching staff members funded by the Temasek Foundation. 28 high school students from DIY participated in the 4-day event, which was organized by the Sagasitas Foundation, and it began on Monday. The students spent Monday and Tuesday developing a chatbot designed to make Yogyakarta more accessible to visitors. In the batik room at SMAN 1 Yogyakarta, where students are learning to manufacture batik on Wednesday and Thursday, artificial intelligence will be developed to recognize batik themes

"The goal is to learn more about Yogyakarta's culture and to be able to identify problems directly on the ground." In addition, make new friends for connections and experience, of course," advised Rio Meidi, a SMAN 1 Yogyakarta student exchange participant who traveled to Singapore in December of last year.

Students appointed from grades X and XI at SMAN 1 Yogyakarta also helped make this program successful by observing the guests' activities while they were enrolled in classes at SMAN 1 Yogyakarta. (Rbn)
