A visit to “TELADAN”, The Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education Indonesia, UNESCO and Yogyakarta State University invite cooperation

Friday, 10th of November, 2023. The representatives of UNESCO, The Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education Indonesia, and Yogyakarta State University visited SMAN 1 Teladan Yogyakarta.

The representatives of Yogyakarta State University said that they intended to collaborate with SMA Negeri 1 Yogyakarta regarding Teacher Competency Development.

The representatives of UNESCO conveyed the aims and objectives of their visit to SMA Negeri 1 Yogyakarta. They expected to establish cooperation in the field of student exchanges and also other collaborations related to improving the quality of teaching and learning, especially in the fields of Science and Mathematics between SMA Negeri 1 Yogyakarta and some Schools in China.

Apart from that, the representatives from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, Technology and Higher Education conveyed an offer of a scholarship program for further study to China for both students and teachers. 

Drs. Jumadi, M. Si, The Principal, gave a positive response regarding the offer from representatives of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, Technology and Higher Education, Yogyakarta State University and UNESCO. He really welcomed the offer given to develop the existing programs at SMA Negeri 1 Teladan Yogyakarta. (RBN)
