Basic Orientation of Teladan Scouts: Introduction to Scouting and Closing of Scouting Education Odd Semester 2023/2024

Yogyakarta – The Sudirman-Nyi Ageng Serang Pangkalan Ambalan Council of SMA N 1 Yogyakarta has organized one of its work plan, called the Teladan Scout Basic Upright Orientation. This program was carried out as a step of the introduction or orientation for class X Scouts towards the world and life of Scouts at SMA N 1 Teladan Yogyakarta.

The Scout Basic Upright Orientation (Called, ODT) was held in mid-November, It is on November 17th, 2023. This year, exploration activity was carried out around the “Pakuncen” area. The exploration was embarked from SMA N 1 Yogyakarta then it turned towards “Klithikan” Market until returning to SMA N 1 Yogyakarta. Several cubmaster and senior guiders attended the activity like, Kak Muhammad Anas, Kak Puji Utami, Kak Adha Maula Effendi, D, Kak Tahta Ratu Sekarilalang, DG, and Kak Intan Sri Maharjani, DG

Kak Adha Maulana Effendi said “this program has been a sustainable tradition in Teladan Scouts”

“The Activity is usually exploration or adventure and annually carried out. It is done to introduce Teladan scout Culture”, He Further said       

Kak Puji, the Girls' Advisor, also added “this ODT is the final assessment for the mandatory extracurricular activities for Scouts.

"This ODT is carried out as a form of final assessment of scouting education activities for class X students. This activity is the closing of scouting activities in 2023," she said.

This activity ended with an evaluation and giving prizes to Gangs Teladan (Sangga) who carried out their duties well during the ODT implementation.
