SIBERMAPAH, AN EFFORT TO OVERCOME WASTE FROM “TELADAN” CITIZENS

Yogyakarta, Aug. 12, 23. Trash is still a prevalent issue. The “Piyungan” Final Disposal Site shutdown serves as a catalyst for raising public awareness of trash reduction and management. SMAN 1 Yogyakarta is an educational institution that teaches the students about environmental issues, including zero waste and management. Today's “SIBERMAPAH” program, “Sinau” Together Managing garbage, focused on garbage management. Gymnastics, brunch, and waste management education preceded this event.

Collaboration with the Yogyakarta waste bank forum is on the agenda. This time, those taking part were the students.

"The students were incredibly excited to learn that cooking oil may be used for aromatherapy, and other groups also found this to be true. It is hoped that by the next semester, we would be able to properly handle garbage. Compost that can be shared and used for classroom plants. To digest organic waste, use maggots. Use Ecobricks to cut waste and establish working trash banks." As the coordinator for the “Adiwiyata”School, Mrs. Liza said. (Rbn)
